'Root Rot' is one of the gems on his debut artist album 'Have You Seen My Dancing Shoes' out late January on Leftroom. 'Root Rot' gets a rework from three unique and gifted producers that all add their charm to the tracks.
First up French techno-master Shonky has erupted through the underground with his releases on Freak N'Chic and Mobilee and continues to seize dancefloors worldwide. He moulds the track into his own, removing the vocal and gaining an unforgettable pulse. The end result is a distinctively warm, driving and intensely welcoming masterpiece.
London-based Glimpse is behind the self-titled Glimpse label whose Black series is a staple in the best DJ boxes including Villalobos, Luciano and Locodice. He strips the track back to its basics and welcomes all to embraces its bare elements. The vocal snippets loop through the groove and warm pads bounce the track from deep and jacking house to warm techno.
Reagen gave us the second release on Leftroom's sister label, Leftout. Hailing from Holland he is an up-and-coming name with his finger on the pulse taking Root Rot to become a bending, upfront record with a menacing undertone.
